As of Monday February 7th farmed Turbot will be available on PefaPlus. This Turbot originates from two farmers: Grovisco and Seafarm.

Grovisco
GrovisCo BV is a farm specialised in farming marine species like Turbot and salty vegetables. Grovisco (since 2006) wants to give its customers the opportunity to learn about this product. Click here for the Grovisco website.

Seafarm
Seafarm catches, processes and export razor clams and other seafood throughout Europe. Next to this, Seafarm operates the most sustainable and energy efficient turbot farm of Europe.

Farming animal friendly and sustainable is our key priniciple; therefore we do not use antibiotics and recycle our water. What is PefaPlus?

PefaPlus is a bidding system wich enables suppliers and buyers of fish to make transactions. The system is fully integrated into the Pefa auction system and the operational prodcedures of the members fish auctions.

PefaPlus is next to the clock auction system , an alternative method to market fish. The supplier decides whether his products are available through PefaPlus. Click here for a detailed explanation about the operation of the system.

Who can join this pilot-project?
Every Pefa customer adjoined to United Fish Auctions (UFA) can participate in this pilot-project. All sales will be invoiced by Stellendam Fish Auction based on a UFA bankwarranty.

Turbot will be offered in 5 sizes.

Tarbot II		2,000 gr	2,500 gr
