Following completion of the objections procedure for the demersal trawl component of the above named fishery, the Independent Adjudicator has confirmed the decision of FCI ltd to certify the DFPO Denmark North Sea Plaice fishery in full, incorporating all three units of certification: setnet, Danish seine and demersal trawl.

Therefore FCI are delighted to announce the release of the Public Certification Report for the above named fishery and, subject to successful outcomes from surveillance audits, the DFPO Denmark North Sea Plaice fishery is now certified under the MSC requirements for Sustainable Fisheries from this date and for five (5) calendar years following the date specified on the respective certificates for each unit of certification.

Due to this final consultation period’s completion this fishery is therefore now able to use the MSC’s logo on all products defined within the specified unit of certification for this assessment.
