Sweden is excited. The premiere of crayfish on Stockholms Fiskeauktion was today. Wikipedia gives a lot of names for this animal, like crawfish, crawdads, mudbugs or yabbies. At the moment the volumes are quite small, but during the peak season in August you can buy and eat plenty of crayfish.
Sweden and Finland attached a big tradition to the so called yabbies: Eating them and drinking something good with it, together with friends and family.
