About Pefa virtual VMS

Pefa Virtual VMS uses the existing GMDSS‑approved GPS systems on board. As a result, no installation of new equipment is required, which leads to efficient implementation and lower operational costs. The software runs on the vessel’s existing bridge computer and integrates seamlessly with the current infrastructure. Pefa Virtual VMS complies with all European requirements. Position, course and speed data are automatically and securely transmitted to the NVWA’s FMC.
